Graeme round the world
Day 27 Thursday 20th April. Went to Jacks famous for it's enormous full cooked breakfast, see pic, then flew from Cusco, which was a fab place and coined the phrase'maybe later'for our group because when we would say no grasias to the numerous street venders they always said 'maybe later!'which became our catch phrase for everything. Short flight into the jungle followed by a bus ride and then onto the boat up a tributary of the Amazon to our jungle lodge, 4.5 hours away from the airport. Dinner was great surrounded by bugs and probably eating a few. Saw some big spiders and hissing cockcroaches, plus a giant mouse type thing in my bathroom in the middle of the night, which gave me a bit of a shock but was quite cute. The sound of the jungle at night was amazing at it really came alive, with insects parrots and monkeys and ....................????.
