Day 25 Tues April 18th, 7am bus ride up to Machu Picchu to avoid all those other pesky tourists. It was very misty so we were worried we may not see it in it's full glory. Day 24 Mon 17th April, woke up to a beautiful morning after a lay in until 7am. The sun was out and the lamas and horses were roaming the camp. Breakfast outside and then visited a local farmhouse, where they all sleep on lama skin on the dirt floor and the house was filled with smoke to keep the place warm, very basic, but they seemed very happy people.
