Day 47 Wed 10th May. Up at 6.3am after not having slept much, as was on such an adrenaline high from yesterday. Everytime I shut my eyes I just visualised jumping off the platform and plunging towards the ground into the darkness :o))))))))) Said goodbye to Queenstown :o( and had a long drive to Fox Glacier arriving at 4pm, but saw some amazing scenery on the way including beautiful waterfalls and trees. Fox Glacier is a very very small town, so from the buzz of Queentown to the solitude of Fox took a few minutes to acclimatise to but just jumped on a local bus to go down and watch the sunset on the famous Mirror Lake and now off to dinner with a couple of people I met down there :o) There is a glow worm wood right next to the hotel which is really great to see, or was that my wardrobe????? ;o) There is no phone coverage here, so will text back to anyone who has texted me when I am out of the sticks xxx
