Now that Gracie's Mexico adventure has finally ended, I have been getting emails asking questions such as "What happened to Hope? Did Gracie and her hammock make it back to Quesnel?” I will keep everyone updated on Hope’s journey back to Canada and answer some important questions.
February 27, 2017 Vancouver, BC, Gracie and I woke up and had enough time to have breakfast before heading back to the airport. Gracie flew back to Quesnel by herself without the hammock. (the hammock did show up 3 days later)
I headed back to Cabo after spending two days in Vancouver with Nancy. Nancy, you are an amazing hostess, Martha Stewart has nothing compared to you.
The last couple of days have been relaxing; Ed and I are enjoying watching the whales from our deck and chilling in the pool.
Today, Ed and I went to see Hope at the Cabo San Lucas Humane Society. Unfortunately, we could not visit with her because she is still in quarantine. We will be able to interact with her in another 2 weeks. One of the staff members kindly took the following pictures of her. While all the other dogs were barking, she just wagged her tail and acknowledged our voices. She has gained some weight and is content with her cellmate, which is a big Great Dane.
Nancy, we found you a dog. No, it is not a Chihuahua, but a small, white, friendly, mix Terrier. To my disappointment, it was adopted by a family in Portland, Orgeon.
We will be seeing Hope next week, as Ed will likely be helping out at the Humane Society. I will keep you posted.

Karyn Bryson Sigh...and sigh again. We just can not help every dog or child who needs our help in this world. One at a time is all that is expected of us. Did you get my e-mail about Trump?
