Today, we checked out of the house in Los Barriles. We decided when we arrived in Cabo we would go and see Hope
Once we were at the Humane Society, the Vet told us that there was a problem
and all of the dogs were on quarantine. We were not allowed to touch her but we were still allowed to see her. Hope was in great care, she had a full belly, but her back was still a little bony After that we went for brunch at Mamas Royal Café. I tried Coconut orange juice, andtheir famous stuffed French toast. It was absolutely delicious.
When we arrived at the Grand Solmar, Ed took Heather and I downtown to do some shopping. I bought a few more gifts for family. Heather took me to Yesis fashion boutique and I bought a very pretty sailor's daughter dress (see picture). I really like the
blue and white stripes and will be a great back yard BBQ dress.
When we went down to the marina, we saw a place where Garraufa fish eat your dead skin on your feet sadly there was a long waiting line. Instead of standing in line, we went for Pina Coladas. While we had our Pina Coladas, we saw a seal going by the big fishing boats wanting their extra bait. I went down to the docks to get a good picture. At the docks, there was a big gate with a lock (because of the expensive boats). Some guy let me in but when I tried to get out it locked behind me. I didn't know what to do so I just waited for someone going in or out. One of the guys feeding the seal came out and used his card to let me out, he was super nice. Finally, we were next in line at the fish spa. During the treatment it felt like a bunch of little smooth rocks that are touching you. It tickles a little bit too. When I put my first foot in the water, all of the fish went for it. My other foot somehow did not get much love. When they went in-between my toes, it felt weird but almost soothing. It was hard not to laugh.
For dinner, Ed and Heather took me on a fabulous dinner cruise. We set off at about 4:30 and the sunset just started. We had V.I.P seats so we sat on the back deck up top, there were couches that we were able to sit on and it was lovely. We met this super nice couple from Alaska, which I think Ed will probably end up going on a fishing trip with. . We were able to see, Lovers Beach, Divorce Beach and the famous "Arch". The legend has it the rocks that go with the arch is a pregnant witch and her Pterodactyl drinking the water. Once the waiter pointed that out it all made sense. We also saw some of the rich and famous houses and the Grand Solmar from the water. As the sun went down, we were called to dinner on the 1st floor. The food was excellent, Heather and I both ordered a steak and Ed had Sea bass. Everything was beautiful and wonderfully presented. While we ate our dessert we watched a wonderful true Mexican dance show, I really loved. It was a great cultural experience and I am super grateful. On are way back to the hotel the gates to the parking lot were locked so we had to go and find someone to open up the gates so we could drive back to the hotel.
I had a lovely night and a day full of experiences.

Maddy What a lovely way to end your trip! Love Nanny
Karyn Bryson ;You are a super lucky lucky girl having all these new experiences and skipping our snows. I don't want to try the little eating fish though. Pumice stones work well enough for me.
Fran Elliot I'm glad I wasn't there for the foot nibbling part. Owch!! You'll be just getting on the plane now. I've been shivering since I got home. So be prepared. Fran
