Going RTW
For the rest of my time in Iceland I rented a car (from a place that rents 'older' cars for less money that is called Sadcars, and my little Hyundi was definitely a sad car) and drove along the south coast to Hofn, about 500 km from Reykjavik along narrow roads with many single lane bridges. I only came close to hitting one sheep (they are free range everywhere) but fortunately for both the sheep and my sad car, we avoided a collision.
I went on a zodiac boat at the Glacier Lagoon where the glacier is calving icebergs into a lagoon by the ocean. It was neat to zoom around all the iceburgs at water level and see them up close.
