Weather - overcast . Up early to take the shuttle (over the Confederation Bridge) to PEI. We are often being asked about the possibility of a bridge to Vancouver Island! The trip takes approximately 4 hrs. with 1 stop in Oxford (home of the largest blueberry).We are staying at the Aloha Guest House, a small B&B with 6 rooms. It is near the water & is about a 5 minute walk to downtown. The Aloha has been in the owner's (Kelti) family for close to 30 years.
For lunch,we had a delicious chowder & haddock burger and then began our explorations of Charlottetown. We had dinner at Ganham Brewery Pub. We were seated in the basement which was kind of spooky! After dinner,we went to the musical, Annie, put on by the local PEI high school. What an amazing & talented group of young people.
