Weather - overcast, windy - sun expected. Today we spent the morning walking around the town looking at & going into historic homes, buildings & churches. After lunch, we took the ferry to Dartmouth (about 20 minutes) & waked along the water. Returning to Halifax , we walked up to and toured the Citadel. Then off to the tour of Alexander Keith's brewery - this was awesome - staff in period costumes entertained us with songs and dances and beer! We met a fun loving group of PE teachers from Saskatchewan. We chatted with George & John, father and son from PEI who gave us some great tips & ideas on what to do & see while on "the island ". We will be leaving Halifax tomorrow - wonderful place & people
