Got up early today and drove over to the north central side of the island, we stopped at an art gallery called The Dunes, great place with lots of pottery, paintings and crafts, I bought a small batik work for home. Next we carried on to North Rustico for lunch. We were having a conversation with 2 ladies from Georgia when one of them began choking. - her face got as red as her lobster, her eyes were rolling back into her head and she was not responding . Her companion began doing the Heimlach (sp?) and the rest of were calling for help-very scary! After what seemed like forever, she came to and had no memory of what happened and was fine . Quite the excitement ! We carried on to Cavendish and went for a walk along the beach, sand dunes and red cliffs, beautiful. We had a chat with a local fellow who filled us in with lots of local info, next we're off to Brackley Beach, WOW what an awesome stretch of beach this is, wouldn't mind coming back here some day. Next stop Greenwich National Park, stepped out of the car and got attacked by midges, got back in the car and got out of there, next stop Cardigan (just had to), back to Charlottetown, dinner and another great day.... (except for the choking lady part)
