Well we made Meppel. A leisurley brekkie and pack up the a wander thro the German and Dutch countryside. Then Meppel - no its not a marina but a dedicated m'home parking area by the canal. 7 euros for 24 hours with showers and toilets so we thought we will have some of that.

It looks like a nice town had a quick walk in and short explore possibly more in the morro. If the weather is kind to us again then we will drive north and cross the 30 km Afsluitdijk also known as the Ijsselmeer Barrier. If its not going to be clear then we will stay put till its time to make our way to the port
