T'cumiteeee ave met an madam chairwotsit decided we would move along. So in the morro we will head out of Bremen in the general direction of Meppel in da Netherlands. If there is a signal we will tell y'all where we ended up.

Another day in da 70's but with a cooling breeze. Went on river trip to Bremen harbour. Discovered its the most southerly German port 90 kms from north sea with a tide rise of 4.5 meters every 6 hours - not many people know that !! Ok I accept not many people would want to know that but it filled up a bit of space :-D The harbour is industrial so not a scenic trip. Some of the old stuff was interesting like the mole tower. Had a stroll round the old town now ...

And what a day. A lovely city set on the banks of two rivers. Lots going on with small lanes, coffee shops, street artistes and as we discovered singing with a male voice choir on the north banks of the wasser.Surrounded by temporary beer huts, wine stalls and food.Missed out on river trip but may go back for that tomorrow. Then found this beach cafe round the corner from the stellplatz and sat outside having a meal. Great day.Knackered !!

I hit the wrong button and off went the blog yesterday so decided to leave it and have a beer. The reference to Hamburg winning was cos it cost us plenty of time going and had a second bite yesterday with two hours lost !! We also had a torrential storm similar to a white out - at least in t'van we were above the spray. Have come back to Bremen cos we liked the look of it and are goin to explore. No Graeme we aint goin to join the ballroom dancing troup. Alleged...

Thurs tea time : Well we reluctantly bade g'by to Bremen vowing to return another time and really explore. A leisurely drive, esp round Hamburg care of m way road works !!, saw us arrive in Puttgarden. Turned west drove along the coast and found a stellplatz by the beach with hook up for 10 euro. Never realised the north east route thro Germany was so flat also very green. Now for grub at beach side restaurant. Friday sees us on da ferry to Rodbyhavn.
