Well Sunday was a write off weather wise ad of hammered it down all day. So we drove to different spots on the island of Fyn. However there were two highlights One was a white knuckle drive over the Storebaelt Bridge.18 kms worth with half of it 65 meters above the sea and a high side wind AND they charged us the thick end of 25 quid for the privilege!! Woke to the gentle sound of rain on the roof, church bells - not a nice peal but a monotonous boing boing . . . . - and the beeping sound of another fuse blown. Oh well at least we got hot water this morn. None last night, other than kettle as strong wind was blowing straight into gas inlet and putting boiler out. Hey ho such is the life of us idle itinerants. Not sure wot today brings now the weather has closed in. No doubt management will inform me !

And this time is at Skaelsor on the western coast of Zealand. This morning we spent in Roskilde and visited the Dom Kirk, a cathedral dating back to the 1100s. No photos but a glossy guide book. Then thro the green countryside to the coast for our stop over. In the morning, winds permitting we cross the Storebaelt Bridge all 18 km of it, to the Island of Fyn. Friday and the rain has caught up with us. Absolutely belting out a tattoo on da roof - cant even see the fjord an dats only couple hundred yards away. Hey Ho guess its cleaning, reading, coffee an crosswords !! Well it did clear up too late to do owt other than me having a reasonable walk by the fjord.

Well Thursday we said g'by to our marina and drove south along Roskilde Fjord after visiting the beach and enjoying coffee + danish - very nice. Eventually arrived at Roskilde and found the Viking ship museum where we spent a very interesting hour +. Then in to camp site on eastern shore of ford. Home for two nights as a bus will take us into Roskilde Fri for some exploring. And perhaps a WiFi connection
