The next morning we tiredly packed our stuff and checked out and asked if we could have a go on their pitch and put before leaving. We had a quick game (where I won) and then set off heading in Sydney direction. We had a short stop off at a nearby beach and sand dunes which was cool then continued driving. We then saw a sign for shark and ray feeding. We ummed whether to go in but finally decided it was a one time experience. You were given some fish food of prawns and squid and a gripper. You could then go round to various tanks to feed the many different sharks and rays. They were very cute. Graeme had paid extra to get in the water with them too, and there was 3 tanks he could go in. the first had a ginormous sting ray, the second had some 2.5 metre long sharks and the 3rd had loads of smaller rays. Graeme seemed to really enjoy himself feeding them bless him. I was happy to watch from the side. The large sting ray was bigger than Graeme, and apparently is hard to feed cuz he's so big and you can't reach his mouth. However, Graeme made friends with him and managed to give it some food!
We then got back in the car and headed south.
We then drove onwards heading to Newcastle. We parked up and went for a wander around the town first. We then headed to a massive cathedral and luckily it was open so had a look inside. We then walked back to the car via some beaches and a view of a lighthouse. we also saw some hand gliders. We hopped back in the car and continued driving onto Sydney.
