Girl Guides Take Europe
Today was one of our more laid back days, we took a funicular train up the mountian to the very top. The train was so small and crowded it was ridiculous. Everyone was stepping on each others feet and invaiding their personal space (i'm not too sure about everyone else's car but for each one of mine that's how it was). We had to take two of these trains to get up the mountian but once we got up the view was spectacular. We could see loads of mountians, valleys and the lakes and such. Anywho, we took lots of pictures and i don't even think that the pictures do the view justice. It was so amazing and beautiful.
So we went back down in that sweaty train, Marissa and I ended up singing a part of "Beautiful soul" by Jesse McCartney while others chimmed in. It was a good walk from the train to the bus.
On the bus, Tara and I jammed out to some awesome sauce music and we went to the lake where we were going to have lunch. Tara, Hannah, Jodie, Marissa, and I all ran to the ice cream shop to get the best ice cream ever. (Before we had our lunch because we're rebels like that). Then our boat came....welll a boat, that scared us to such an extreme level. The unexpected horn was just too much for me to handle.
Our actual boat came and most hamilton girls(with Mandy and Sam{Our Volunteer leader}) basically spent 20 mins taking pictures in the ceiling. haha, we're so funny.
So Blah Blah Blah we're walking through the castle doing a scavenger hunt and Sam turns to us and says she doesn't feel so good. Turns out she ate a day old sandwich that had tuna fish, ham and cheese on it. That silly Aussie. (She's perfectly fine by the way). Marissa and I had a little water fight, and needless to say she won.
On the way back we took a bus. Oh the lovely bus, all the leaders, volunteers and most of the girls fell asleep on the way back, Except Hannah of course. She was jamming out to music from Marissa's Ipod, lip singing EXTREMELY badly and eating the seat. ( i honestly can't handle this girl, I love her.) She was great entertainment. Tara fell asleep while we were listening to music together and trying to change the song while shw was holding it was quite difficult.to be fully honest. She ended up shifting in her seat so thank god for that one. Haha.
Apparently in Switzerland it is commmon for people to jump of bridges into water. It was so tempting to just jump off the bus and join them. It was so hot, you don't even understand.
When i finally found a good song to listen to and we havd to get off the bus. woo. just my luck.
So i don't know if anyone has mentioned this but some of the girls are getting sick here. We are doing everything in our power to stay healthy and there is a clothes bandit that is stealing underwear and towels. Which sucks because we leave Monday.
The Wifi has been acting up which is awful because people can not contact their family or friends, so please Families just bear with us, we will contact you as soon as we can. Also, we want to add pictures but there is no way to connect our cameras to the computer so hopefully we will be able to upload pictures soon.
So in conclusion, it was a good, relaxed day. OH and please forgive me for the spelling mistakes.... I am so tired it's hard to notice, it's an early night tonight.
