i had to get up early again as i was meeting at a hotel near by to be collected to get a bus to Las Vegas! I gave myself half an hour to get there from my hostel! I left at 6.30am so it was quite dark outside still so i was worried about walking on my own! Lets just say that downtown LA is not the greatest place to be walking in the dark or to even stay there. There are a lot of weird people out so i just walked really quick! After some confusion about my booking and waiting around at the Kawada Hotel, i was taken to the greyhound station where me and two japanese people would get the bus to LV. I was told that the bus that should be taking us was broken so they paid for my ticket on the greyhound bus and then arranged a transfer to the strip in LV when we arrived. The only problem is we got to the greyhound station at 8am and were told that we had to wait unti 10am for the bus! I wasn't pleased but I could see that there was a line where people were waiting and it said 8.30 bus to LV. I was gunna try to get on that bus if i could so i waited for the people to get onto the coach and i would ask! There was two other girls also asking if they could hop on that one, so me, the japanese couple and these two Aussie girls managed to get the earlier one! The coach journey was soooo long, it felt like forever! We arrived at the greyhound station, the journey took around 5 and a half hours. I wasn't sure if the person would be there to pick us up as we were there early but they were! The transfer didn't take long, like 10 minutes. As i didn't know where my hotel (Wild Wild West) was, i jumped in a taxi at the Excalibur Hotel and it was only just over the freeway! I could have walked that but i wanted to save myself back ache! After freshening up in my room, i headed to the strip over the freeway! I walked around for 4 hours seeing the Bellagio fountain show at night time which was amazing to see! I grabbed a Mcdonalds for dinner (thats all i seem to be eating at the moment!) and i enjoyed seeing the famous hotels and lights etc. I had only just watched the film 'The Hangover' on the flight to LA so i kept having flash backs from that hehe! As i have to meet for the tour at 7am tomorrow at the Best Value Inn, i walked to find it earlier and i knew it would only take me 30 mins to do so i would need to leave about 6.30am again to get there! Vegas will have to wait for another time, to bed early i go (again, i know!). At least i saved myself losing a lot of money, i will have to come back on holiday!
