Going out the night before our travels probably wasn't one of our smartest moments. Despite this myself and franks soldiered on and after several attempts of trying to fit way to many clothes into our backpacks we were ready at 2am Monday to begin our adventure to Heathrow. Although we were flying from Gatwick. And luckily realised this with minutes to spare.
So our second adventure to South East Asia had started. And we were so excited. Maybe playing connect four and drinking earl grey in the Flying Horse Whetherspoons, surrounded by groups getting pissed didn't show it, but we really were. After a few games of "Guess where they're going" we were ready to board the first plane to Norway where we would get our connecting flight to Bangkok.
Apart from an "abandoned" landing (the older dude that was also travelling to Thailand told us it was called this, we are convinced he's going to Pattaya) and a lot of turbulence on the decent this flight was bare able and only an hour and forty five minutes. We had a five hour wait at Oslo which we occupied by napping and pizza. Also one of our first lessons we've learnt on our adventure if that it is not just the landscapes that our beautiful in Norway! Before we knew it we were ready to take off to Bangkok only eleven small hours away.
The second aeroplane was miles better! So comfortable and despite stale expensive food and a narrowly avoided fist fight over the Himalayas as extra in flight entertainment, it was a pleasant ride into south east Asia.
