In the 45 degree heat in New Delhi today, the only phrase to sum up the all day tour is #sweaty. Hey all its the adults here. We have had an amazing day at Laxmi Road. First we took a rickshaw to the market place! WE SURVIVED! We have decided the rickshaw puts alton towers to shame! At the market we bartered with the tenders to buy produce. Krys, Lynne, Dawn and Claire managed to purchase. 11 garlic bulbs for 10 rupees which is the equivalent of 10 pence. Had an interesting day, had a rocky road trip in the rickshaw to getting to laxmi road where we put our haggling skills to the test buying traditional indian items such as bangles, sari's and punjabs.
