Ola!

Had the worst sleep last night...room was so hot I had to get up in the middle of the night to chill downstairs for a bit at like 5.30 then slept in and missed eggs in the morning! Damn

Tagged along with my Deutch pals from Porto and another girl from Melbourne to Sintra for the day. Its about 40mins from Lisbon on the train and pretty easy to get to. We went to the royal gardens...it was like walking through a fairytale. Sintra is up in the mountains with a gorgeous palace overlooking the valley. The royal gardens are huge, we felt like we were in a rainforest. The weather was pretty s***...muggy and rainy, so good for the mountains I guess. The gardns reminded me so much of A Midsummer Nights Dream... I felt like there were fairy princesses ready to jump out from behind the flowers and waterfalls. It was so cool to explre them..really out of this world. There were underground caves as well and lots of little towers to look out from. We didnt end up going to the castle cos the weather had turned and it was gonna cost 11 Euros so we bailed. Then came back to the hostel and chilled fr a bit...and the hostel then put on a gorgeous Portuguese supper with meat cheese and wine...I had 5 glasses haha, it was so good!

Then I welcomed Jess and V to Lisbon! So good to catch up with people from home...bais havent seen anyone really from home for about 7 months now so Im looking forward to having a good chat tomorrow with them.
