Vietnam visa:
The one thing I had to do in Phnom Penh. There are loads of travel companies and your hostel that can arrange it for you cheaper than the Vietnam embassy. But I needed mine in half a day before I left. So I headed down to the Vietnamese embassy - google it, it's easy to find. There is a special visa section to the right of the main building. It opens at 8.30 and was $60 for a 1 month single entry visa. For an extra $10 they did it there and then for me. The guy said 1 hour but it took less than 10mins! More expensive but the way to do it if you're in a hurry!
Phnom Phen - Siem Reap:
I booked a bus through the hostel. Cost $14, including a transfer from the hostel to the bus station. It was called Giant Ibis and the bus was great - free bottle of water, chocolate chip bread thing, wifi (albeit temperamental at times!) and English films playing. We left the bus station at 12.30 and got to Siem Reap at 6.45pm. There were 2 breaks - one for 15mins about an hour and a half in and another 3 hours in for half an hour. There was a restaurant here who's primary purpose was to feed and water you before you got back on the bus. The rice and veg wasn't anything to write home about but good enough at $2.95.
