As this has been my 3rd week I have established a bit of routine that I'd like to share with you so you can pray effectively for me and the 614 project ( i know how you guys love to communicate with the Father!)

Monday -
Pray the bible - with the other students and the leadership team at 9am mon - friday we spend half an hour praying through the scriptures

Extreme Prophetic - we have a lesson on the prophets and undertake spirit lead prophetic acts

Read the bible - we all spend time reading the bible out aloud together. They have started at the beginning and are working the way through we are in Joshua at the moment

Recre8 - This is an evening homeless drop in where we make people tea, play cards and generally build relationships


Tuesday -
Pray the bible

Hang out with Cherie one of the leaders of 614

Read the Bible

Undercover - we go somewhere in the community (cafe, community centre, library etc) and hang out with the intention of seeing what's going on in the area

League of Mercy - in pairs we intentionally spend time visiting the people we have had contact with during the week. We take them things they need, food etc and pray for them.


Wednesday -
Pray the bible

Kingdom Class - we are looking at the parables in Matthew as an aid to unpacking what Jesus means by the Kingdom of God

Read the bible

Kids Cell - we take all the children of the community to the play park for a time of fun. We focus on one verse and teach them the verse and unpack it all at the park! We are currently working through Philippians

Lucky Lodge Cell - Lucky Lodge is a slum hotel where we run a weekly cell group. We take food with us and anyone is welcome to join us even if its just for food. Again we are working through Philippians. We sing songs, share food, talk about our highs and lows and study God's word.

Recre8 - as above but Wednesday night includes teaching from Aaron one of the 614 leaders and worship. This week a guy walked in for the 1st time heard Aaron talking about Jesus and shouted "i want some of that!" there and then Aaron led him to Christ!


Thursday -
Pray the bible

Warfare Communications - lessons on preaching. Very different from my Moorlands lessons, i am really enjoying them!

Knee Drill - a 614 worship service. Worship music, prayers, testimony and teaching


Friday -
Pray the bible

Evangelistic Discipleship lesson - with Jonathan one of the 614 leaders very practical and insightful.

Consistent Life Ethics Class - with a Christian teacher from another local community. Provides the chance to look at ethical issues and debate our faith. At the moment we are focussing on the Beatitudes. God is really speaking to me on this but i will share with you when i am home!

Saturday -
FREE TIME! (the reality is though that people want me to hang out with them so its not as free as it should be!)

Church service - I have been going to a Salvation Army Corps called Cross Culture. Very similar style and feel to Iford, small, friendly and family!

Sunday -
FREE TIME! ( as above, I am trying to hang out with the girls)

This Sunday I am going to a church in North Vancouver in the morning, I will need to take a sea bus! I am indeed very excited :)

Street Combat - an evening dedicated to prayerfully walking the streets of Down Town with the intention to engage with people and intercede. We particularly focus on proclaiming God in the alley ways where prostitution, drug taking and general sin occurs. I would really appreciate prayer cover during this as the warfare here is extreme, the alleys are dark and the enemy hates it when we do this!
