We have had an amazing day today. Before our walking tour this morning Graham got interviewed by a Berlin TV station. They wanted tourist opinions on the death of O Bin Laden... I politely declined. Our walking tour was great. We learned a ton about the history of Berlin and it's significant buildings and monuments. Then we did this really bad boat tour not worth the money but because we took the boat tour we ended up in the right place at the right time. We got to see the four members of the huge mega band U2. It was so cool. Bono is much shorter then I expected and really nice. Coolest part I totally spotted him before Graham and it even took G a few mins to believe me.
Then we went to see the wall or a section of what's left of it. As I walked through the 'death strip' I thought of Canadians back home and the election taking place today. How lucky we are to be Canadian. I look forward to hearing the outcome tomorrow.
If your ever in Berlin know that reading a German menu is harder then it looks. All I'm gonna say is Banana peppers and arugula "laughs".
Well We are heading off to bed. Another busy day tomorrow as we are
Going to try to get out to a concentration camp. Keep us posted on the results of the election.
