Last night was wonderful. We dined at Paul Stube , anAustrian restaurant in the heart of the city. Ket enjoyed pork medallions with dumplings and I had the sausage salad, all washed down with some Austrian beer. The beer garden was full and buzzy and the outlook through leafy trees into the fading light of the old street below was a fitting close to a great day.
We were near where our walking tour ended so we strolled home through the narrow streets lined with elegant white buildings as the slowing Salzburg prepared for nightfall.
We continued on through the twilight in Mirrabell Gardens and heard beautiful music wafting on the breeze and stopped to listen to a local Orchestra playing a sultry version of Yesterday. Back to the hotel for nightcap to polish off a good days touring wee done
