Feeling it from the night before we weren't pleased to hear that we would be first up to do the Sky Dive. 12.30pm crept up and we all got very nervous. We got kitted up and met our instructors and camera men before getting onto the pink plane which didnt seem very stable. It took 20 minutes to get to 15,000 feet and at this point we had to have oxygen because we were so high up! The door opened and Sophie was first to jump, second was Olive who looked like she was about to cry, Georgia was last of the 5.
Olive - I've never felt anything like i did when falling off that plane. I had already started screaming before reaching the edge and when the instrcutor pushed me off it was the most surreal feeling! Absolutely amazing views on the way down, we could see so much. It was much calmer once the parachute had opened and i could actually hear myself and the instrcutor. I had time to take everything in before landing. Being able to control the parachute was also pretty good! Wanted to do it all again once I'd landed, definitely worth it!
Georgia - It was amazing! The best feeling in the world. Sitting on the edge of the plane was terrifying but when we fell off the views were incredible and so hard to describe to someone who hasnt done it. When the parachute went up there was silence and so peaceful. We were over Lake Taupo so the views were amazing. I would do it again like a shot!
