CHS Gallipoli Tour 2008
Today we had a early start. We took the funicular (cable railway) to Hohensalzburg Fortress, central Europe's largest, complelely preserved fortress. The Fortress was built in the 11th century. While in the fortress we had a audio tour and we had a look in the fortress museum, we saw the first indoor long drop toilet and the gold room which was everyone's favourite. The room was decorated with pure gold.
Afterward we had lunch in the old town and then ltook a look around the shops. We enjoyed a crusie on the Salzach river which runs in the middle of Salzburg, dividing the new from the old.
