Today was a cold day. Very cold.
We got up, had breakfast, then set off to the Salsburg Salt mines. We arrived there at about 11 o'clock. The Salt mines were very interesting and quite fun. To get to some places in the mine you had to go down a huge slide. One slide was 27 metres and the other 47. The tour guide spoke about how much percent of the world was salt and the Prince Arch Bishop who lived many years ago and made his money off Salt. The tour went for an hour and ten minutes. After the tour we continued our journey on to Lofer.
As we reached the town Lofer which is a bit larger Coonamble, we could see the top of the trees on the mountains covered in white snow. Which was picture perfect as you could ímagine.
Lofer was very very cold today. So cold, that some peoples noses felt as if they were going to fall off. Our Group arrived at the hotel at 2:40, but check in time was 3 o'clock. So Mr Flowers decided we would go for a walk and have lunch, which was bread rolls with cheese and salami. They were from the youth hostel we stayed in.
Luckily, we found a little cafe which was as warm as a orange fire! And it had good food too. We all got a coffee/hot chocolate and were set.
3:00 came and we checked in to our beautiful hotel which has a heated pool, a gym, a sauna and a playstation/games room. Our rooms are very nice, double beds, nice showers and a beautiful view of the snow topped mountains.
