Today dad and I did a half day fishing charter while mum and Isabelle went out for breakfast then to the wave pool. The charter went from 8-12 in Darwin harbour. We caught so many trevally but are no good for eating, baby cod that aren't worth keeping and a few bream. The keepers dad caught were one queenfish and a big cod and I caught one bream. Another guy jagged a turtle by the fin. Because it is northern territory day at the end of the charter dad and I went to buy some fireworks because it is legal to on northern territory day. We all went to the wave pool for the rest of the day. After the wave pool we went to the mindle markets for the evening. We walked around for a bit then had dinner. We watched a fire show just as it went dark. It was very exciting watching. We watched the mindle beach fireworks spectacular which was the best fireworks show we've been to and saw everyone else let some of their own crackers off so we found a spot and let off our own. It was great fun lighting and watching them go off in the sky. It was a very busy day. We are going to litchfield national park tomorrow.

Nan Hi Jack - gee you had a big day. Margaret told me about the wave pool as her brother lives up there in Nightcliff, she said they have great markets. I loved the photo of you with the bream you caught. Love to all - Nan xxxx
dorothy tanner Hi Jack, Good to see that “Bream” on the hook, did you catch some to eat? Glad you all enjoyed the fireworks and the joy of “setting” your fireworks off! The wave pool looked fun, ALL so happy. Cheers D & R XXXXOOOO
