What a fabulous morning as we made our way up the mountain in a series of cable cars to Mt Pilatus. Yes it was cold, but breathtaking. It had snowed about 30 hours ago so the snow was soft and fluffy and light, not like the ice we call snow in Australia. The kids had snowball fights for most of the time we were there with Brad and the other young people on our tour. I sat that one out as it was very slippery,I enjoyed the sunshine and the fresh air.
Back into town to wander and to do a little shopping. The kids got engraved Swiss Army Knives, and Max also got a Swiss Military Watch. A few souvenirs but Brad and I were happy to have a few drinks at a local cafe, (Brad likes to have a coffee and beer together) and experience life in Lucerne.
Although it was a free night, we met up with some people from the tour and went to an English pub called Mr.Pickwicks for dinner and drinks. We have been extremely fortunately to get such a lovely group of people to travel with, and they have been just divine to Max and Emerson.
Off to Paris in the morning, very excited once again.
