Definitely good luck having friends here when I'm here. Not just for the W hunt but also for drinking buddies and local FYI.

Today I shall be investigating pelts and furs. Squirrel fur only $5, all the way to $500 arctic fox and seal pelts. I don't wear fur but its a huge part of their history here. The Yukon has been an area of fur trade for Russians, Americans and British, and is what began the original settlements before gold was discovered. Unfortunately of course the natives, the original fur traders with the Europeans, were marginalized in the trade once more Europeans and americans came. There is still an active trade here though.

Today I'm checking out local museums and taking a trolley cross town wuddduuuup. Tonight rorys friend organized a pub crawl, a sport I am fortunately quite skilled in.
