Arrived safe and sound in Whitehorse. Very beautiful place, air is very freshhhh. Due to high elevation the lower air density is noticeable. Due to my lack of forethought I spent most of today looking for cheap pants. Thank you joe fresh for providing styz on a budget. Tonight I'm meeting up with Lauren and rory Henderson, bro sis duo of the century.

The city is like a little oasis of civilization. It seems both remote but there is certainly a lively spirit about it. Apparently times are booming here from heavy resource investment. People are very friendly to the point of letting me j-walk at a ridiculous level, someone stopping her car and shouting to me that I dropped a $20 bill (which I'm pretty sure wasn't mine.... :l ) and everyone says have a nice day! It's a wonderful place. Gonna see a show tonight , stay tuned over the course go the trip to possibly get a glance of diamond tooth betty, so called because she dances with a diamond in her teeth.

Also look up yukon's territorial drink for some entertainment. To save time it's called the 'sourtoe whiskey' and it's composed of.... U guessed it....a real pickled toe in whiskey.
