Another glorious day in San Francisco and not a cloud in the sky.
Normally when I embark upon a trip like this it's usually the result of months of hard training for a charity bike ride. But this one is purely down to the fact that I work in the travel industry and I can't help feeling that I'm cheating a bit.
Perhaps I should call this 'The Guilt Trip'!
Thank God this city has an excellent transport system. Everywhere you want to go to is uphill.
Fisherman's Wharf, our starting point for the day, is a wonderful BoHo district which I think is the nicest part of San Fran. We took an open top tour on a bus which began life carrying passengers around Manchester. Perhaps they should send it back as I'm sure Man City will be needing it soon.
From Union Square, home to all the major department stores such as Macy's and Saks, we took one of the famous trolley cars back to Fisherman's Wharf and then on to Chinatown.
Tomorrow we have a movie locations tour in the morning and pick up a hire car in the afternoon and head to Sausolito.
