Down and Out in Beverly Hills

So what happened to the daily blog on Thursday?
The last report explained how I'd reached my 17th Hard Rock Café at Universal Studios in Hollywood.
Sadly after a bout of food poisoning, that will be my 17th and last.
Our day in LA which was due to start with the full Hollywood movie tour and end with dinner at Spago Beverly Hills was totally wiped out. Kath wasn't affected by the way.
It took all our efforts to cut our losses and quit the trashy two star motel and retreat to the Four Points Sheraton by the airport. Well if you're going to be ill the you may as well be ill in comfort. Besides it made sense to head out to the airport to make checking in easier the following day for our Tahiti flight.
