Flew from Los Angeles to Tahiti. Pretty uneventful apart from one rather sleazy guy behind us in the check-in line. As far as we could gather, he was a singles club tour guide and was herding a group of American ladies of varying ages for what appeared to be some sort of south sea island shagfest.

The group were sat further up the plane from us so nothing to report during the flight.

However, while we were waiting at the baggage reclaim, we noticed a harem of around eight ladies, the aforementioned guide and one other nerdy 'double entry book-keeper'-type male who was probably in his mid 50s, trying to look around 20 years younger and had a very bad combover!

Bet the guide has his work cut out this week keping those ladies happy!!

Took a compulsary pre-booked transfer to our hotel (which took all of about four minutes) and cost 90 quid return.

Very nice hotel (The Hilton) though even in the dark!
