Brunswick to Quedlinburg
Bombed down here quickly on a nice sunny day with a tail wind!
Got in at 2:30pm (our earliest finish by some 3 hours). We wanted time to have a look around this place which is a UNESCO world heritage site.
Having a post ride drink in the sunny square, this German guy came up to us and asked what we were doing. He was interested to find out something about our charity. Then he asked us to wait there whilst he went home to get us some money. He came back with €15 for Paul's Place. I regret that I didn't get his name but I got Jackie to get a pic of him giving me the cash. On behalf of PP, thank you!
Quinlinburg is a town on the northern foothills on the Harz Mountains. Kelbra is now only about 35 miles away, but is on the southern side. Time to climb.
Post script
We got washed and changed and set out to find a restaurant. En route I noticed that German guy who'd given us some money. He was sat on the ground, tunelessly playing a harmonica, with an upturned hat in front of him. His face lit up as he recognised us and wished us well with our charity.

Mr Jangut Your route choice seems strange! I presume there must be reason for this or is it just Jackie' map reading? Or maybe you are just padding out the days to make it seemingly a more ardous trip than it actually is!
Annette Marshall Glad you are having such a lovely time!
