This morning we were up at 5.15am, to watch the sun rise over Uluru. As we drive, we see Uluru silhouetted against the sunrise, looking absolutely beautiful. It's far busier at the sunrise lookout than it was at sunset yesterday. We stroll along the walkways admiring the Rock and taking photos from various angles. Waiting for our Jetstar flight at SYD airport, we spot an own branded Toby's Estate coffee outlet. We spotted Toby's Estate coffee beans at numerous coffee houses (and to be honest have often been nonplussed about them),so we're keen to experience what it's like "in house". Served too hot, it was a dark roast, which comprised of quite a monotone (barely there) flavour. Very disappointing. Would have been good for a budget outlet (ie 7 Eleven), but...

...so disappointed from the Toby's Estate effort, we try a flat white from a posh looking place further down the concourse in the airport. It's made with lots of skill. The milk is correct, it is a good temperature, but the coffee beans don't cut through. Too milky. Too bland. It like drinking warm milk. Oh dear. AF
