Opa Sorry we missed you message in the last hour. B was out playing with the dogs. I was cutting out the third of five rubber band pistols. Luke was in, but probably didn't know what to do. It's now 3:21 P.M., and we're waiting for the Shuttle to lift off within the next half hour. Whether it lifts off on time or not, we will leave here for Karl Jr's near Sunshine, at 3:50, to meet Connor's mom and pick up Matthais after his day's visit. Keep enjoying your vacation! Opa As Carol said, the boys are back in old Agua Dulce. (Boy, does Matthais love it here!) Tomorrow, after a morning session of flying in the front yard, I'll take the boys to Oma's favorite MacDonalds in the valley. At about noon Oma will pick up Matthais and head for Eileen's, with lunch scheduled for afterward. Lucas and Brandiss and I will do lunch at the Golden arches, and then return to A/D. It appear that you took about the same route I did in going to Ebersteinburg from Salzburg (With the exception, of course, of the detour to Neu Schwanstein). Look forward to your pics and words. Grandma Carol Your boys are back with Oma and Opa. Very tired today but also very good. I have finally been able to see your blogs and photos and it looks like you are having a good time. I'm thrilled for you. Hi to all of the rest of you. See I was able to take 3 boys to Disney World and not lose them Ken!! Luke only took one side step and Matthais was up to him before we knew it. That statement itself describes our trip. Oh yes that and 15 rides on different types of things that this Grandma normally does not do. Have a good Tuesday in Baden Baden (at least that is where I think you are).

Ken & Linda So Karl, any luck with riding that BMW motorcycle on the Autobahn that you were thinking about? I wont ask you any questions Cynthia! The Sherriff called in at your house again last night with the huge party your brother was holding, we vouched for him as they were intending to arrest him! Beau escaped and chased a herd of deer around Waterford before being subdued by a Ranger's dart, and to top it all off Bruno got into some old motor oil at Conrad's house and is now a lovely shade of black! Other than that things have been going very well at home....... None of the above is true of course! Sounds like you are having a wonderful vacation. Don't eat any steak tartare but everything else should be fine! Hopefully next week goes by VERY slowly for you and very FAST for everyone else. Love Ken, Linda and Kids

Heidi Hi Guys! We're back home and finally back online! Enjoyed looking through all four days of pictures and reading about your adventures! K-K wants to know when he can play with Lukie...try explaining "in one more week" to an anxious four year old. Carol, aka MOM OK so is Checkpoint Charlie and the wall worth visiting Berlin for? Those are two of the highlights on my list of things to see in Berlin and I have always heard that it is an industrial city mixed with the old and the new. And of course I have to ask is Katie cute in person and is Suri the doll she looks to be?? Boys are asleep. They can't wait and Grandma will clearly be up to late getting it all ready. Like daughter, like mother she learned from. Wish us a safe flight and lots of luck.

Jenni I can't believe I didn't get to talk to you before you left. I know how these second honeymoon trips can sneak up on your fast. Unbelievablely good travel..always a good sign. It's funny...I'm hosting a consultant from Germany for a conference we are having here. He's from Aachen and works in Maastricht (Netherlands). I'll have to get a good German saying from him. Don't get too tired sightseeing--remember it is a honeymoon!
