Today we woke up late and decided to go for a light breakfast at Rendeavous opposite out hotel. I ordered cheese on toast but got cheese and ham on toast. Can't complain was nice. We went back to the pool and went to relax by the pool. I got the most amazing apple juice ice cooler slush thing!!
After a few hours sunbathing we thought was explore Siam square and Siam paragon as had heard good things. We hailed a tuk tuk which cost us 200 baht to Siam Paragon. We looked around the shopping centres but didn't buy anything as we found the prices were increased compared to England. After wards we went for a late lunch at a gorgeous restaurant at baanying. I got a battered chicken spicy salad and chips which I really enjoyed. We want back to our hotel afterwards and relaxed.
We decided to go for dinner in the Indian restaurant in the hotel as it was award winning and had views over Bangkok. When we arrived we were told there was no window seats available as they were reserved. We were seated and saw the restaurant was quite empty. A waiter came to take out order but rushed us as said the chef was finishing at 12. (At this time it was 20 to) we found this quite rude and were also confused why we couldn't have sat near the window if it was closing. Regardless we ordered a special kebab starter which was meant to have 100 spices in it. When it arrived it was bland and left an unpleasant after taste. Our mains came and were surprisingly nice compared to the starter but the food was appalling compared to the other meals we have had so far. During the meal thunder and lightening started. Once we had finished we decided to go for a drink on Koh San road. We got a tuk tuk there costing 200 baht and walked down the strip. We both ordered a drink and got a apple sheesha to share.
I was shocked to see a lady with a little baby at the bar we were at. She was making it dance and ended up stripping it off and holding it in strange positions. After about half an hour she got on a moped with the baby in her arms and drove off. So dangerous.
We decided to get a tuk tuk back to our hotel at the agreed price of 200 baht. We set off and got to the roundabout just next to Koh San and a car truck came into the side of the tuk tuk. I was so scared and we pulled over to the side of the road so the drivers could sort stuff out. We just walked away to get another tuk tuk to take us home.
