What a long trip! The plane was completely full and freezing cold! Pretty hard to get to sleep, although Jonny popped a sleeping pill and he was out for much of it. Definitely, ordering vegetarian food on the way home as I'm sure it would have been better than what we were offered.
Sooo good to land in Paris and hear French being spoken (I'd been watching French movies on the pane to get back into the swing of hearing French)
The children did amazingly well with the queues to get through to customs, getting on and off the terminal connecting train and getting checked into British Airways for London. (BA are atrocious in every aspect!) they were exhausted but managed so well - very proud of them!
Ros and Mia were waiting for us at Heathrow which was lovely, we're so excited to see them! After a much enjoyed shower and cup of tea it was party time with Sara and Luca, Bal and Celia, Shanita, Keena and George, loula, Michael and Jenny, from next door as well as David another neighbour and Danubian who is the most amazing singer! We had a very yummy Indian meal and caught up with everyone until we crashed out, absolutely exhausted!
A very long day!

Kirsten If you ask they sometimes let you queue skip with kids at customs if you ask. Ge them to burst into tears or beat each other up infront of one of the officials - sure to get you fast tracked!!
