Yesterday I went to get a haircut in Wanstead village and when we were in there someone pick pocketed my Dad and stole his wallet. After that I went to a lolly shop and I got some lollies, they call them sweets here.
We took all our luggage on the underground so we could catch the Eurostar, it was very tiring! The Eurostar was really fast, it didn't seem like three hours! I was really tired by the time we got to the apartment.
Today we had croissants and pain au chocolate for breakfast. Then we went on the bus to an island in the river Seine. We saw a bridge with hundreds of padlocks locked onto it. It shows people's love for each other and they throw the key into the river. We went to Notre Dame, a famous church. It was amazing how they could build it by hand and some basic tools. It was 1000 years old. We saw some tombs as well where they put dead bodies of priests. I bought a candle and lit it for my old dog Tamba and my Uncle Elliott who died. I also bought can with a picture of the church on it. After that we went to a famous ice cream shop. I got cherry (cerise) and raspberry (framboise) flavour - it was really good.
I was a bit worried about pick pocketers here. The people are very protective of their country as they have soldiers and police everywhere. We went into a memorial where it showed how many Jews died in the war - 200,000 died just from Paris!
I have no idea what people are saying here! See you
