Day 24: Another lazy morning swimming and relaxing in the 35 degrees and 91% humidity! After lunch we head to the famous Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Farm...and we are not disappointed! Day 23: Broome. What can I say about Broome? It's a sprawling town of corrugated iron and red dust. And pearl shop, after pearl shop. I think, if you're into fishing in a big way, Broome is your town. Or if pearls tickle your fancy...maybe then. But otherwise I have to admit...I'm a little underwhelmed so far. We went to Cable Beach with all the expectations afforded us from the brochures, and, well, I was a bit disappointed (sorry Broome). Yes, it was 22 miles...

Day 22: I am sitting at the caravan having a cold ale (or two), having washed and hung clothes, made and eaten dinner and got one small, tired boy to bed. We arrived in Broome after a hot drive from Fitzroy Crossing, and setup camp at a lovely caravan park called Cable Beach CP (recommended by the Tourist Info man...he lives here). We are camping here for at least 4 days, which will be a good opportunity to relax and work out what our plans will be as we head ...

Day 21: Okay. So we didn't reach Broome on day 21 as I had scheduled. But we are learning that sometimes you just have to throw the schedule out the window! We packed up our tents and made our way s.l.o.w.l.y out of the Bungle Bungles this morning and headed for Fitzroy Crossing. Another hot day behind the wheel, but we were relieved by the lovely pool that greeted us at Fitzroy River Lodge. We have decided to leave Geiki Gorge until our return trip, and head...

Day 20: There is nothing like bush camping: the sound of dingoes calling to each other, insects playing their evening tunes, and sunrise...at 5.30 AM! So the day starts early. So what?!
