Today my duties are computer related - Angels of Mercy has a stand at the Sustainable Living Expo 22/24 August and I rather rashly got carried away with ideas and am now creating posters and signs promoting the work of AoM and fundraising. My next job will be to create a quiz to hand out to visiting school children - all the answers will be on the boards and hopefully we can encourage them to read the posters and take note of the info there - if not for themselves then for their mums/sisters/aunties/friends.
We sadly said our goodbyes to Yama this morning and she and Pat left with all her worldly goods in a carrier bag to go to the court and then to the place of safety. However an hour or so ago Pat returned with Yama and the police so that the house could be inspected with a view to releasing her into Pat's care. Yama has been left here and is "helping" Terry with the decorating while Pat speaks to the police. Watch this space!
