We made quick progress to get down from Gorak Shep and back to the airport, we both felt very smug on the way down passing people going up.

We were very lucky and caught the second flight of the day out of the worlds most dangerous airport back to Kathmandu. We had an extra day in hand in case of poor weather or sickness but didn't need it thankfully so we are back in Kathmadu early.

We went sight seeing yesterday, a Buddhist temple then a Hindu one, interesting to see. Today is the Hindu Holi celebration, it's. water festival so there are kids throwing water bombs at everyone. We've taken refuge in a hotel garden to dry out.
