Ok, so this picture isn't of Longview, but I don't have any pictures uploaded yet.

Had a good trip down yesterday, only slept about 2 hours Saturday night and was at the airport for 5am Sunday morning. Flew through Toronto and Dallas-Fort Worth and had beautiful weather the entire way. (Remind me to never agree to a 4 hour lay-over in DFW...omg i think i was going to die)

Got into Longview at about 4:30 (that's 6:30pm for you folks back home). Sun was shining and it was about 29 degrees. Mark and Ed were at the airport to meet us. I had to laugh when I went to get my suitcase...the baggage claim area was big enough for about 10 people (not a joke)...Longview is quite small. Got our rental car (a Chevy Impala) and got to the hotel. Beautiful rooms (pictures to come shortly).

Went over and met up with the rest of the gang from Halifax, as well as some people from Clarksville and Lubbock. We all went to an authentic Japanese restaurant for supper where the chef came out and cooked all the food on the grill right in front of you...it was truly amazing.

After supper it was time for a much needed sleep. Up and at it this morning and just getting ready to head to work. It's raining out, but it's still warm so I can't complain. Work is only about a 3 minute drive from here. I'm excited for my first day. Miss ya's all...Will post more soon.
