Hi Folks!On our first day in Surfers Paradise we got up early and got a lift to Wet n Wild water park. I found tickets online to go to three theme parks for $130 rather than $79 for each one so that was pretty good. It was quite a good theme park, they had a couple of quite scary rides, a bit half pipe type looking thing that you went down and almost right off the other side on a rubber ring for two. I was lighter so I had to face backwards, I was well scared. There was another one as well that was quite good kind of like a spiral that you went down till it spat you out at the bottom. The second time we went on it I let go of one handle right at the point it bumped up and I fell out a bit but managed to regain my composure though but it was well scary! Kirsty didn't like them much so she took photos for us which was pretty good for saving money on the prices they charge there if you wanna buy theirs. At night we just had Hungry Jacks as we were all whooped and couldn't be bothered cooking. The next day we were up early for our second theme park, Seaworld! It was great we were all like zombies but it was really good. We saw a sealion show, a water ski show and a dolphin show. The dolphins didn't look very happy when they were in their pools or maybe I was just imagining it after the stuff the guy on the dolphin tour in NZ told us. It had rides at it as well a big rollercoaster that went upside down which I went on, I don't know what is happening to me, its like fear does not exist, I think its because you know you only have the option this once! They also had one of those big pirate ships as well which made us all feel sick. They had really good animal enclosures as well, a great under water viewing bit where you could look at all thee sharks and a really cool it with a big playful polar bear who we even see take a poop!! At night we just had a kebab as again we could not be bothered and then I just tried so sort some of my photos as you will see there are loads!! Yesterday we were up early again for our last theme park, Warner Bros movie world. I went to the bank in the morning and my Halifax card has just randomly stopped working and I cant get money out on it and there is nothing in the other one and it takes 3 days to transfer between them, it's a nightmare but I think I have enough to last till them , lets hope so lol!! The first thing I am doing when I get home, is a massive letter of complaint to HBOS as I have spent a fortune on calling them over things they shouldn't have done, ahhhh rant over! So that was my third thing as bad things happen in threes, laptop broke, then it transferred to my camera which broke and then my bank cadd gave in, hopefully that's it for a while! Anyway we went to movie world which had better rides that Universal in LA. Andy, Craig and I went on Lethal Weapon as soon as we got there as that is one of the main ones so we wanted in before the queues were too big. It was one where your legs dangle and you go upside down 5 times, it was good but my ears got well bashed from my head lolling about on it. Next was the Batman ride which just kind of shoots you into the air then drops you, Kirsty got some good photos of us on it. Then we all went on the other Batman one which was kind of a simulator which was pretty good. Then the last scary one was Superman, you kind of go indoors through "earthquake" then superman comes and saves you and shoots you through the building outside and over the top of a practically vertical drop which Andy and I were at the front for, it was well scary, you practically came off the seat at the top, it was my favourite one. Very proud of my going at the front as well lol! There was also a big log flume as well in the Wild West bit which we went on twice in a row and Kirsty and I got totally soaked. We also went to see Shrek in 4D, it was the same as LA but still good all the same. They had some nice shops too like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The boys went on Lethal Weapon again and I joined them or superman which was still awesome and we saw a parade as well before we went to the amusements where we went on the dodgems three times in a row lol and played some arcades! We got a lift home and I yet again tried to sort through my photos and had some pumpkin soup and noodles for tea before going to bed. At about 3am there was a huge thunderstorm and I actually felt it vibrate my bed, quite scary!!Today we have just got up, checked the bank card - still not working and checked out and hung by the pool but it started raining as soon as I put on my sun cream of course so we are just stalling time till our bus at 4.30pm to Brisbane!!Hope everyone is well.
