What a beautiful island!! Then Fort hotel has a working cannon as it started as an actual fort. White House is the president's palace. Dominica was created 26 million years from volcanic eruptions . And at the top of the cloud forest is another name for it. No white sand beaches no casinos on Dominica. Population 70,000 for the entire island Predominately Catholic's society No monkeys no crocodiles no elephants. There are possum, agouti and feral pigs but no poisonous snakes. Although there is the boa constrictor brought to the islands by early African settlers. So the original inhabitants of the island are the Carib and they came from South America, Venezuela, and they have their own area on the island 3500 acres of land.
