Today for our first class we had a lecture about the history of Europe. Our speaker showed us maps and asked us which once correctly laid out the countries of Europe. He also talked about the EU and showed us a funny clip of kids playing a war video game upstairs of an apartment building and all the older residents thought the noises were real showing the EU's goal of keeping peace within the nations. After the lecture we headed to lunch and then broke up into our French groups again. We practice the phrases we learned the day before and also started learning how to count to 10. After class we went back to the dorms and got ready to go into Paris. Our new friend Khiery came with us and we decided to walk around near the Louvre. We first got dinner at my favorite restaurant so far. The waiter was super nice and I ordered a croque madame all by myself. Really stepping up my French game here. The food was awesome and then we walked back to the Louvre. Outside of the museum is gorgeous and looks like giant castles surrounding you with a really pretty fountain and these large glass structures. We took lots of pictures and then Tori and Decker actually went in to see the Louvre so Khiery and I walked around the museum inside. It was a relaxing day walking around and the weather was super nice.
