So this morning Josh and i went to rent some moterbikes so we could all go around to the other side of the island and try some snorkelling. MOTERBIKES are AWESOME. They were soooo much fun!! We bought some fruit and snorkel masks and headed off to the other beach...lets just say it was an eventful day.

The beach on the other side is really nice. Tehre are smaller islands around it and sandbars that stretch out towards them. We all got in the water and started swimming to this island when low and behold....OH my Gosh. It's very strange when you are in the water and your whole body starts stinging! At first no one said anything to one another, thinking it was just them..but then i relazied what was going on...from a couple summers of swimming in jellyfish infested waters. I pretty much booked it to the sandbars. We all, in the end, headed out of the water covered in tiny slashes from the baby jellies that apparently inhabit the water. Of course that would happen to me right? (We didn't stay at the beach much longer) So switching drivers we headed up the road to finish our tour of the island, Koh Phengan (Koh Fen Yan). We stopped along the way at this amazing view and decided to have lunch at the restraunt, it was BEAUTIFUL! We drank wine and had grilled fish and looked out from a cliff onto the ocean below and tiny islands in the distance.

Driving home: So John, not having a liscence..decided it'd be a great idea if he drive one of the bikes, even though Josh and i insisted he shouldn't.. I hate to say i told you so..but he ended up crashing it into me..and the damaged put him back $300US. Sucks for all of us... It was a good day though, besides that.
