Bangkok is very crazy, one minute we're all loving the people the culture etc and the next we feel like people are just out to rip us off.We did attempt to get straight into the time zone here but ended up sleeping in til half 1 yest but feel ok, not affected really. LESSONS: THINGS WE HAVE LEARNED IN BANGKOK 1. Wherever possible make your own way anywhere-you will get there faster and have more fun...and often for free! 2.Never EVER take your malaria meds on an empty stomach 3. Dont be truthful about how naiive a traveller you are. (First time in Bangkok? No!) 4. Water is best consumed cold, i.e. ten seconds after purchase. It will be hot in thirty. 5.
