¡Hola¡

Well looks like my spanish skills are taking a little breather for now...yesterday we watched some movies and today my teacher is "en ferma", so I have another lovely day off.. school was never much fun anyway. Kidding Mom!

So as there is no school, I am just catching up on this and some emails! Today is GORGEOUS once again, which made me very happy. Two other volunteers, Alex and Holly and I went out for a great breakfast this morning, then Hols & I went to the beach to put in some more hard work on our tans. My favourite part of the beach is probably when I walk back alone, listening to my ipod, along the sand with the water splashing up.. I'm probably repeating myself, but it makes the entire trip worthwhile.

So this is my first weekend here..and we've got some pretty excited plans which is good. Tonight will probably be very relaxed, and just have a few drinks at CoCo's, the rasta bar. It's the extent of the "exciting nightlife" in Cahuita. And then tomorrow Holly, some other girls and I are taking a bus up to (down to?) Puerto Viejo, which is a nearby town. We'll spend the day on the beach and doing some actual shopping. Sunday we are all going on a hike through the national park and then doing some snorkelling! So as long as the weather holds up (fingers crossed) this weekend should be excellent!!
