Hey! Today was the day we scaled Sydney Harbour Bridge! We checked out of the hostel and headed down to Circular Quay where we went to the Bridge Climp Check In. We had an hour of suiting up, practising climbing up ladders and getting all of our equipment - it flew by tho! We then climbed up the east arch of the bridge to the summit and then walked across the top and back down the other side! We saw some amazing views as there were no clouds, no wind and brilliant sunshine! It was $169 (about 70 pounds) so a bit pricey but I would reommend it to anyone! After the 2 hour and a half climb we got our certificates and photos and headed back to the hostel! We grabbed our stuff and headed to the bus station. Our bus left Sydney at 6 and got to Newcastle at around 9.30. Greyhound are definitely the way to go - loads of leg room, travelling at night so no missing out on stuff and toilets and dvds on the coach! Ems and Steve xxx
