Today was Warwick Castle day, you may recognise it from Hamish and Andy's visit. When we got there the portcullis was lowered to protect the castle from attack. But when we made it clear we were there in peace they let us in. Thank goodness. At which point a man with a green umbrella who couldnt figure out that he was in a crowd nearly did his own damage. Avoid green umbrellas at all costs.
Once inside the castle Pearce, Ryan and I went to the dungeons. Out the front of the dungeon entrance I told Ryan I was going to put him in one of the cages, then one of the employees goes "some mother you are!" NOT my kid - just my cousin. Annoying little man.
As we were walking around the dungeons i grew a new appendage - it's name was Ryan. He was so scared. It wasn't really scary but it was kinda gross. Watching "the cook" pull the insides out of a plague victim was disgusting!
Bird show was a few different eagles which was very cool.
Highlight of the day was the Flaming Trebuchet. It is basically a more accurate catapult. The set the load on fire and flung it. An impressive display.
